win10 ODBC 3.1 Driver

Using the windows ODBC Data Source Administrator and adding MariaDB ODBC 3.1 Driver to the User DSN. Unable to connect with named pipe with following error: Connection failed: [HY000] [ma-3.1.15]Plugin pvio_npipe cpild not be loaded: The specified module could not be found. Library path is 'pvio:npipe.dll'

So the question is: Is this an issue in win10 or the MariDB driver, or with me?

Named pipe works well connecting directly via HeidiSQL on the same machine.
